Australia: Song of Sun and Soul
Where oceans sing and deserts gleam,
Australia—born from ancient dream.
In Sydney, where the harbour shines,
The Opera sails in silver lines,
The bridge stands proud, the waves roll free,
A jewel beside the sapphire sea.
To Brisbane’s warmth the breezes call,
Through jacarandas’ purple fall,
The river winds with laughter’s tune,
Beneath the kiss of a golden noon.
Then Melbourne, dressed in art and rain,
With trams that hum their soft refrain,
Cafés whisper, lanes entwine,
A soul of stories, old yet fine.
And through it all, in fields so wide,
The kangaroos in grace abide,
They leap beneath the crimson sky,
As kookaburras laugh nearby.
While koalas dream in eucalyptus shade,
In quiet peace their world is made,
A hush of green, a tender balm,
A country’s heart that beats with calm.
From coral reefs to mountains blue,
Australia wakes to sights anew.
In this vast land, both wild and free,
Lives nature’s song—eternity.
