Historical Soul of Greece
Athens awakens where wisdom gleamed,
The Parthenon glows as dawn is dreamed.
Athena’s grace through ages flows,
Where thought and marble eternal rose.
Santorini glows in sunset’s flame,
Cliffs of fire whisper her name.
Aphrodite smiles where waves renew,
Love eternal in seas of blue.
Mykonos whispers in moonlit delight,
Lanterns and laughter enchant the night.
Artemis glides through a silver dream,
While Dionysus flows in every gleam.
Paros rests with marble grace and light,
Harbors gleam beneath Demeter’s sight.
Sailors once prayed to Poseidon’s sway,
While Hera watched the island’s golden day.
Hestia guards the hearth’s soft light,
Zeus thunders over mountains’ height.
Athena guides both Greek and Byzantine ways,
While Apollo’s lyre keeps ancient songs ablaze.
From Homer’s verses to myths retold,
A land of marble, fire, and gold.
Greece endures, both earth and sky—
An eternal hymn that shall never die.
