Jaipur Visit During our visit to Jaipur, we explored some of the city’s most iconic attractions: • Hawa Mahal – Also known as the Palace of Winds, this magnificent structure is built from red and pink sandstone. Located on the edge of the City Palace complex, it extends to the Zenana (the royal women’s quarters) and is renowned for its unique honeycomb façade. • City Palace – Situated in the heart of Jaipur’s old city, the City Palace was once the residence of the royal family. It beautifully combines Rajput and Mughal architectural styles. The palace features intricately carved arches supported by brown marble pillars decorated with floral designs in gold and colored stones. Two finely carved marble elephants stand majestically at the entrance. • Raj Mandir Cinema – One of India’s most famous cinema halls, Raj Mandir is admired for its grand scale and elegant, ornate interiors.
