June Rain on London Streets
The cobblestones gleam in silver light,
As June rain falls in gentle flight.
Umbrellas bloom like flowers in gray,
Dancing along the Thames’ soft sway.
The city hums a muted tune,
Beneath the sighs of a silvered moon.
Neon signs in puddles gleam,
Reflections ripple like a dream.
A whisper drifts through narrow lanes,
A soft applause of summer rains.
Boots splash echoes on ancient stone,
Yet no one walks this path alone.
The scent of wet earth, faint and sweet,
Mingles with rain on London streets.
Time slows its pace, and hearts align,
With the gentle rhythm of June’s design.
