The Musical Soul of Sweden

Where northern lights in silence stream,
And dawn awakens half a dream,

Through forests deep and lakes that gleam,

There hums the soul of Sweden’s theme.

In Stockholm, islands kiss the sea,

Reflections dance in harmony,

Old cobbled lanes, the royal hue,

Where past and present wander through.

Gothenburg hums by western shore,

With laughter soft through harbor’s door,

The scent of salt, the song of trade,

In summer rain, the dreams are made.

Through Uppsala’s spires the bells still call,

Where wisdom walks through ancient hall,

Each whisper there a scholar’s flame,

Still learning beauty’s gentle name.

In Malmö, bridges span the blue,

Where modern hearts find old made new,

A skyline born of glass and grace,

Where future meets the sea’s embrace.

Beyond the towns, the countryside,

Where crimson cottages abide,

Through fields of gold, the birches stand,

And peace is held in every hand.

Then comes the night—Nordic and clear,

Where stars seem close enough to hear,

And distant chords of Swedish song,

Make hearts remember they belong.

For here, where pop and midnight blend,

The rhythm never seems to end—

A land of stillness, bright and free,

Where every note is poetry.
