Mysuru (also spelled Mysore) is a city in the southern part of India, located in the state of Karnataka. It is known for its rich cultural heritage, historical significance, and scenic beauty. Here are some popular sights we visited in Mysuru:  

• Chamundeswari Temple – Located atop the Chamundi Hill, this temple is dedicated to the goddess Chamundeswari and offers a stunning panoramic view of the city. The temple is an important religious site and attracts thousands of devotees every year.
• Mysore Palace – One of the most iconic structures in India, the Mysore Palace is a magnificent blend of Hindu, Muslim, Rajput, and Gothic styles of architecture. It was the residence of the Wadiyar family and is known for its intricate carvings, grand durbar hall, and stunning lighting during the evening.
• Sri Shwetha Varahaswamy Temple – This temple is located near the Mysore Palace and is dedicated to Lord Varahaswamy, an incarnation of Vishnu. It is known for its serene atmosphere and beautiful architecture.
