Timeline of the COVID 19 Pandemic

COVID 19 Pandemic started from 22 March 2020. This infectious disease was first discovered in Chinese city of Wuhan.  On the evening of 24 March 2020, the Government of India under Prime Minister Narendra Modi ordered a nationwide lockdown for 21 days, limiting movement of the entire nation as a preventive measure against the COVID-19 pandemic in India. The pandemic has resulted in severe global,social and economic disruption. It has led to widespread supply shortages exacerbated by panic buying,agricultural disruption, and food shortages. However, it has also caused temporary decreases in emissions of pollutants and greenhouse gases. Educational institutions like schools and colleges got closed since March 2020.  The online classes for students started from August 2020. Many events have been cancelled or postponed. Udaipur Trip

On March 2020, We went to Udaipur. We stayed at Shiv Vilas Palace and enjoyed having breakfast there. The following places that we visited : • Shri Eklingji Temple : A Hindu temple complex in Udaipur District of Rajasthan in western India. It is situated in Kailashpuri village, near the former capital of Mewar, i.e., Nagda. Eklingji is believed to be the ruling god of Mewar Princely State and the Maharana rules as his Dewan. • Lake Pichola : Situated in Udaipur city in the Indian state of Rajasthan, it is an artificial fresh water lake, created in the year 1362, named after the nearby Picholi village. It is one of the several contiguous lakes, and developed over the last few centuries in and around the famous Udaipur city. • Taj Mahal Palace : The 5 star hotel in Udaipur located on an island in the midst of Lake Pichola.   The following places we visited : • Tripura Sundari Temple : We offered prayers.The Tripura Sundari temple is a temple situated in Udaipur city of Tripura. The temple is a Hindu temple of the Goddess Tripura Sundari, better known locally as Devi Tripureshwari. It is believed to be one of the holiest Hindu shrines in this part of the country and witnesses the highest number of visitors for a temple in North-East India, after Kamakhya Temple in Assam. • Bhubaneswari Temple – One of the famous Hindu temples, Bhuvaneshwari Temple is located in Udaipur, a sub-division of Agartala and 55 km from Agartala, the capital of Tripura.  • Kalyan Sagar Lake : Kalyan Sagar is a beautiful lake near the temple of Maa Tripura Sundari which is a place hosting lots of fishes.We also visited that lake and had coconut water. • Neermahal : We reached Neermahal through boat.We took photographs of waterbody around Neermahal.
