On March 2020, We went to Udaipur. We stayed at Shiv Vilas Palace and enjoyed having breakfast there. The following places that we visited :
• Shri Eklingji Temple : A Hindu temple complex in Udaipur District of Rajasthan in western India. It is situated in Kailashpuri village, near the former capital of Mewar, i.e., Nagda. Eklingji is believed to be the ruling god of Mewar Princely State and the Maharana rules as his Dewan.
• Lake Pichola : Situated in Udaipur city in the Indian state of Rajasthan, it is an artificial fresh water lake, created in the year 1362, named after the nearby Picholi village. It is one of the several contiguous lakes, and developed over the last few centuries in and around the famous Udaipur city.
• Taj Mahal Palace : The 5 star hotel in Udaipur located on an island in the midst of Lake Pichola. It is one of the several contiguous lakes, and developed over the last few centuries in and around the famous Udaipur city. The lakes around Udaipur were primarily created by building dams to meet the drinking water and irrigation needs of the city and its neighbourhood.
• Jagmandir : A palace built on an island in the Lake Pichola. It is also called the "Lake Garden Palace". The palace is located in Udaipur city in the Indian state of Rajasthan. Its construction is credited to three Maharanas of the Sisodia Rajputs of Mewar kingdom.
• Maharana Pratap Museum : The museum which is also known famously as the Haldighati museum amongst the locals.
• Fateh Sagar Lake : The lake situated in the city of Udaipur in the Indian state of Rajasthan. It is an artificial lake named after Maharana Fateh Singh of Udaipur and Mewar, constructed north-west of Udaipur, to the north of Lake Pichola in the 1680s.
I enjoyed the boat ride on Lake Pichola.
