Edinburgh: A Tapestry of History and Mystery
In the misty soul of Edinburgh,
Where cobbled streets in silence gleam,
The mighty Edinburgh Castle
Still watches over all like a dream.
Along the historic Royal Mile,
The sound of bagpipes fills the air,
As glowing lamps and ancient walls
Hold echoes of all gathered there.
High above, Arthur’s Seat stands tall,
A quiet guardian of the skies,
Where morning light embraces rooftops
And golden dawn begins to rise.
From Calton Hill at twilight hour,
The city shimmers bright below,
As amber lights and distant stars
Create a soft and gentle glow.
Beside the grand Holyrood Palace,
The echoes of the royals stay,
While gardens sway in Scottish winds
Beneath soft clouds of silver-grey.
Through peaceful paths of Dean Village,
The quiet river softly flows,
Past charming homes and ivyed walls
Where timeless beauty gently grows.
Oh Edinburgh, enchanted flame,
Where mystery walks the winding night,
A whispered breath beneath the fog
Drifts softly between dark and light.
