The Misty Soul of Edinburgh
In the misty soul of Edinburgh,
Where cobblestone streets softly gleam,
The mighty Edinburgh Castle
Still watches proudly like a dream.
Along the historic Royal Mile,
The sound of bagpipes fills the air,
As glowing lamps and ancient walls
Hold memories everywhere.
High above, Arthur’s Seat stands tall,
A peaceful guardian of the skies,
Where morning light embraces rooftops
And golden dawn begins to rise.
From lovely Calton Hill at twilight hour,
The city shimmers bright below,
As amber lights and distant stars
Create a warm and gentle glow.
Beside grand Palace of Holyroodhouse,
The echoes of the royals stay,
While gardens sway in Scottish winds
Beneath soft clouds of silver grey.
Through the peaceful paths of Dean Village,
The quiet river softly flows,
Past charming homes and ivy walls
Where timeless beauty gently grows.
Oh Edinburgh, enchanted flame,
Where every stone preserves a story,
A city woven out of dreams,
Of mist, of music, and of glory.
