Act 1: ঝড় জড়ো হয় (The Storm Gathers)

Setting: Kolkata, India (Omkar’s residence & Debabrata Roy’s mansion)

• Omkar and Mrinalini have eloped and married, angering her father, Debabrata Roy.

• Indranil, secretly resentful of Omkar, begins manipulating Ronit, who is in love with Mrinalini.

• Kaushik is promoted, sparking Indranil’s plan to destroy Omkar using jealousy.

Act 2: ছায়া গভীর হয় (The Shadows Deepen)

Setting: Kolkata (Party hall & military office)

• Indranil gets Kaushik drunk at a party, leading to a brawl. Omkar, under Indranil’s influence, demotes Kaushik.

• Indranil plants suspicion in Omkar’s mind about Mrinalini’s fidelity.

Act 3: বিষ ছড়ায় (The Poison Spreads)

Setting: Kolkata (Mrinalini’s home & Kaushik’s apartment)

• Indranil steals Mrinalini’s handkerchief (a cherished heirloom) and gives it to Paromita, setting up evidence against Kaushik.

• Omkar starts doubting Mrinalini and distances himself from her.

Act 4: ঝড় ভেঙ্গে যায় (The Storm Breaks)

Setting: Kolkata (Omkar’s home & the streets)

• Omkar, now fully convinced of Mrinalini’s betrayal, confronts her violently.

• Kaushik is attacked, and Ronit, manipulated by Indranil, is also involved in the chaos.

• Kuntala begins to suspect her husband’s schemes.

Act 5: দুঃখজনক সমাপ্তি (The Tragic End)

Setting: Darjeeling (Final scene), Kolkata (Omkar’s residence) & London

• Omkar lures Mrinalini to Darjeeling under false pretenses and kills her in a fit of rage.

• Back in Kolkata, Kuntala confronts Indranil and reveals everything.

• Indranil is arrested, but Omkar, overwhelmed with guilt, takes his own life.

• Lalmohan arrives in London with political news, but finds tragedy instead.
